Symmetry.
There is something fantastically wonderful when things are symmetrical.
Even with little variances, anomalies, imperfections...a clean line, doubled, paralleled, intersected with other shapes, it brings about a harmonious feeling. For some, it brings great peace and joy.
These scenes, taken in various cities around the world, instantly caught my eye; and in each case, brought me a great sense of balance, continuity...and peace.
