Samba Time At Cinecittà

A tune I composed as a tribute to the incredible films and music made at Cinecittà Studios in Rome during the late 60s/early 70s. All instruments played and carefully EQed (with a little modern post-processing) to give it a late 60s flare (with a slightly modern edge).

I composed this tune as a tribute to the amazing music created during the late 60s/early 70s 'boom' of Italian semi-erotic cinema.  Yes. Semi-erotic (especially by today's standards). The Cinecitta studios in Rome gave birth to literally hundreds of incredible films (and film soundtracks), many of which would influence the German films (of the same genre) around the same time.

I've been collecting these rare soundtracks for over two decades, and they've been an inspirational part of my writing process for equally as long. That, and I just can't help myself when I'm near a Wurlitzer electric piano or Hammond B-3 Organ. :)
