Jawas At Work | Star Wars Originals
I'm starting a little photo series of various childhood memories. These characters (the Jawas) from the original Star Wars film always intrigued me. They made a very brief appearance in the original movie, but they were always among my favorite characters.
Original action figures from 1977. A while back I pulled these out of storage (after 35 years) and just wanted to have a little fun. Simple items around my studio made for some interesting props.
Coupled with my desert surroundings, I wanted to simulate the feel of that first Star Wars film.
My retro 70s lamp base provided a cool, spacey centerpiece for the last image.
